打包式箱房是焊接结构，钢构采用镀锌技术，由结构系统、地面系统、楼面系统、墙面系统、屋面系统组成，每个系统由数个单元模块组成，单元模块在工厂制造完成，房屋现场由单元模块装配完成。

性能

◇抗震8级，抗风12级，使用寿命15年以上。打包式箱房选材可靠，可循环使用，绿色经济。墙体采用75m厚双面彩钢玻璃丝棉夹芯板，可起到良好的保温、防潮、隔热的效果，导热系数≤0.033W/（m.K），同时具有隔音功能，环境舒适。打包式箱房比传统的活动板房更密封、更隔音、更防火、更防潮、更隔热。

运输

◇可拆卸做成板式包装，适用于海运和陆运

陆运：17.4米的平板车可装12套，较大的节省了运输成本。近距离可选用将房屋在工厂预制组装好，整箱运至受用地，吊装好后直接使用。

海运：通常一个40尺高箱装6个。
